Hmm brand new control panel sounds cool, though I have never had any problems with the current one. Really hope they don't mimic the Catalyst Controlpanel, since I think that looks really lame.

Edit: My current highest wish for display drivers: AutoUpdate FFS! Don't know if it is M$ or nvidia / ATi that would have to integrate that, but it would be soooo convenient.

About time I'd say!

What do they mean by faster downloads? Are we talking smaller drivers (fewer MiBs to download that is)? And it being architected for Vista sounds pretty strange to me. I would think ForceWare 90 or some such would be out to Vista anyway.

A guess - it has support for the new video memory model that Microsoft wanted for Vista (where the OS can use video memory directly).

yeah i like the nv control panel better than the ccc but thats just imo.

on another note, i wonder if this will change the registry hack for coolbits?

edit--and frackal is right, why no mention of dual cpu support. i'd think that would be a top feature they'd mention if its included.
