Hey guys, I got a message from the mods about the free Nano ad and immediately passed it along to our sales team. It's something that one of the networks snuck in without our approval. We've taken all of the culprits down to make sure it stays down until we can figure out who snuck it in and how to remove that particular ad.

Ever since the days of popups we've had a strict policy against them, that policy has not changed so if you see something like this it was done without our approval. If the ad or something like it manages to re-appear just let us know and we'll get on it asap.

Thanks for your patience and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Take care,
Anand

Holy moly! Its the big man himself!

On another note: glad to know that you have a strict policy against pop-ups. I can't comment about the ad itself becuase I never had it come up for me. Maybe being a FireFox user had something to do with that.

Probably just luck. It didn't pop up when people started complaining initially, but shortly thereafter, I started to see it and it came through. For the record, I use firefox.

Nano Babies, iPod Nanos, or Nano-Seconds?

I take it they weren't free, so perhaps discount option three above.

What was the moral dilemma related to the advertiser?

Thank-you, Anand.
