Can someone explain how air would flow through soil?
Can someone explain how air would flow through soil?
Clairy alerts you of the toxin levels of the room which it’s in, as well as the temperature and humidity levels
I wonder why the promoters didn't provide plant respiration rates to demonstrate the throughput of their vapor phase phytoremediation device? They also neglect to discuss airborne mold levels with and without their device.
Edit: The study linked to shows the initial effectiveness of potting soil to remove pollutants but does not show how the plants play any role in pollution removal. Nor does the study show the long term capacity of the potting soil to continue to remove pollutants from the air.
It's like people were born fucking stupid.
Unreal. Over 178 grand?! Are you kidding me?! I'd like to see what Shark Tank thinks of this.
It's like people were born fucking stupid.
Well... they are.
Interesting concept although I find the design extremely ugly.
In the pictures, the pot stands out like a sore thumb, doesn't fit with anything. Design my ass. It looks like something a redneck concocted out of some trash, IMHO.
** As for the "soil" used, I didn't see any specifics. It could be anything, you can make a soil mix very airy, eg. by adding perlite or peat...even some styrofoam pebbles would work.
