I just moved everything into my new case, and when I boot up, everything is A-OK except I get a Floppy disk Failed(40) error. The light for the floppy is permanently on now, everything is hooked up correctly, I re-did it twice and still get this error. Any ideas what it might be? I did notice the pins were a little bent but the cable went on fine.

Thanks.

If the floppy light is on steady, then the ribbon cable is on backwards. The red stripe normally goes in the opposite direction of the HDD cable.

Agreed, this is most likely your problem. For something so simple it is often overlooked, except those who are experienced. ;)
