The Flock - game will end when enough players die?

So everyone just needs to make a pact to stay logged in but never kill each other and the game will last forever? LOOPHOLE!
 
Read about this last night. Sounds like a great concept except I'm sure they'll screw it up. Game better be cheap because if its timed that erodes its value pretty severely.

When the population reaches zero it's game over, and The Flock will never be available to purchase or play again.
 
Assuming its a decent game I'd be ok with $5 or maybe $10. I'd go $20 if its projected life is around 2 years. Being realistic we all know they will mess with the counter to keep the game running for as long as people buy it then when sales stop the counter will run down very fast.
 
ok, watched the video and not sure i get it...

it seems that there's only 1 guy with the megaflashlight per game? is he NPC or player controlled? THat huge flashlight tells everyone where he is at all times, can see it all the way across the map. but then it seems op as you only have to hit someone for a second to kill them with it.

only like 2 people can play per game or what?


whats the initial population set to?
 
I thought it was a more of a normal shooter. I guess I was wrong.
Watched the video and lost almost all my interest. After this post my interest in this game will be depleted.
 
Game looks boring to me. Just not my cup of tea (but I'm not into being scared....real world is scary enough).

I like the concept and that it's unusual and the devs are trying to do something different. We need more of that. I wish them luck.
 
Would be funny if there was a way to have everyone commit suicide at the same time.
Other than that, yeah, game seems lacking from watching vids.
