I think that Mars Volta album is pretty amazing, lyrics aside. It's pretty fun to try to figure out some sort of theme from their stuff. I swear one of the songs is about werewolves.

Epics are either really fun or kickass: you can either be funny and flamboyant like Queen or surly and awesome like Lynard Skynard. But you can?t shop at Hot Topic and cry about your daddy.

That said, I still think they're awesome. To be able to compose a 15 minute song and crap it into 5 is pretty impressive.

i can't say enough bad things about dragonforce. the fact that they have gained some degree of popularity is terrifying.

they obviously didn't hear the song i heard on the radio this morning. i wish i could remember what it was called so i could look up the lyrics.

they mentioned that dragonforce used the word pain 26 times in the whole album. this song used the word pain 50+ times in just the one song!
