It would be interesting to see what was the first music casette, album or CD you ever purchased?

I purchased my first music (a 7" single) in 1980. Styx - Too Much Time On My Hands. I still have it.

One of the first tapes I've ever acquired was Swass whenever it first came out. I don't still have the tape, but I did buy the CD a few years ago for nostalgia's sake. :)

hah. it was the monkees. daydream believer, probably.

the first album I owned was.. well.. it was the obernkirchen children's choir.. they had kiddie music in the 60's too. the first popular music album I owned was sgt. pepper.. my babysitter's husband brought it home from the bus stop (really).. and I had others between (more monkees!) but I'm pretty sure madman was the first one I bought myself..

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird....Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

45 - lynard skynard "what's your name little girl", Nazareth "love hurts"

Black Sabbath Vol4 LP in 1980 I think, I had no idea who or what it was, the cover looked cool and my mom was ready to leave the store so I grabbed it and begged her to buy it for me :D and she did, obviously she had no idea either.
