the final diagnosis...

as some of u know, i recently built my own comp. well, i posted some problems, and all of them have been overcome except this one...

my k7vza mobo has a 1ghz chip in it. it says it's 750, using the frequencies in the bios i'v gotten it up to about 800mghz and a little above. some have said to change a jumper but with checking and double checking the manual there's nothing to change concerning frequency, chip speed, or fsb. please help, pictures would be great, thanx
 
It looks like that mobo is based on the KT133, and I bet you bought an Athlon 266. It has the same default multiplier as an Athlon 200 / 750, which is why you are only getting 750 out of it. Try returning the CPU and getting an Athlon 200 / 1000.
