Yeah, Marble was a pita. I tried to take advantage of a "flaw" in the program. When a chain snaps tight, it often goes through the solid blocks partially. Sometimes it snaps. I tried 100 different configurations (at least). Sometimes the chain would snap, sometimes the object would end up about 95% of the way into the goal (which is why I didn't give up.)
Finally got frustrated & erased everything. Then, a much simpler solution hit me right off the bat. 3 tries and it was fine tuned. I could do it again in 3 or 4 tries any time.
Substitution was a bitch. I successfully got the one on the top over to the target on the left, but the one underneath dropped. It was then that I figured out, "ohhhh, both of them have to be in one goal or the other. Pretty simple design to defeat that - three wheels, magnets as maces. Pounded the top ball backwards, and while the device stumbled toward the right, held the under one in the goal just long enough.
Bombard - a minute to figure out what to do, 20 minutes fine tuning it until it worked perfectly. You don't know how frustrating it is to make a wedge to hold the block in place, have that wedge slip loose at just the right moment, then have that wedge block the block from the goal by a hair. AGGGHHH! Success finally was mine. Tip: put a magnet in the center of the block. It prevents magnets from keeping your wedge from folding up.
