that joke, while funny, dragged out for a very, VERY long time. Granted a lot of their jokes drag on to the point of un-comfortableness, that one just never stopped. the DOOM reference, however, was amazing!

The problem with these kinds of jokes is that while they're funny the first time, they are not funny at all the second time. Luckily, Family Guy doesn't do those kind of jokes very often.
