Earlier today, I became aware of this terrible news. The site which has filled our hard drives and engorged our genitals will soon be no longer available to us. I'd like us all to have a moment of silence to remember this testament to greatness.

I received this message from the system administrator of puretna:
Hi,

It saddens me to say this, but my life has been extremely busy for the past couple months and I haven't had any time to devote to the site. Consequently, PureTnA has been on a downward path towards an eventual demise. I don't want to see it continue.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your support. PureTnA couldn't have grown to its present size, nor lasted this long without strong support from its membership and hard working moderators.

This site will be shutdown in the very near future. It has simply become too much of a burden for me to run and maintain.

It is up but they are taking it down soon. They screwed up their code recently and basically were faced with a huge rewrite to get it working again.

the site they linked to in that message (got the same one) isnt too bad...

my university internet got cut (wtf?) for downloading too much or something ... most of which was from puretna .. ><

btw,phun.org isnt too bad either.
