The Faint released a new album

these guys.

They have some great stuff...but this new CD blows horribly. Their previous CD was amazing, everything was a hit in my opinion...this one I am not going to listen to, oh well.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I have Danse Macabre and Wet From Birth which are both pretty good. Didn't know they were still around.

Yeah....if I remember Media was VERY different too...now this one is very different. I prefer Danse Macabre and Wet From Birth.

Well maybe I'll check out the samples later to at least see which direction they've headed now.

Never had the opportunity to see them live unfortunately.

Yeah, I know, it just seems that the local bands I don't like are the ones that draw all the popularity... pretty much the whole of Saddle Creek, really. And The Venaculas.

Blank-Wave Arcade was my favorite. Everything after Danse Macabre has kind of sucked.

Dude are you kidding? Fasciination is freaking awesome! I've been listening to it nonstop since I got it. I love how they can pull off different stuff. Although Media, no I wont listen to it but the rest ugh they are so great. I'm creaming my jeans jsut thinking about it.

The Show is the Rainbow does a lot of touring, even as far as Europe, and got a decent reception at SXSW. It's generally just the one guy with a laptop and projector, you could almost picture him as an ATOTer
Anchondo should be huge, they're a great rock band.

It does seem a little bit too experimental reminds me of Adam and his Package, but it's not so bad that I can't listen to it and love it.
