I watched 'The Express' on the flight home. 'Watched' is an overstatement, because I did not put the headphones on, but rather glanced up at the screen every now and then as the movie progressed.

Once I figured out it was about a black football player, I pretty much lost interest: I do not care much for football, and since it was a story about a black player, I could predict it was going to be one scene after another of racism in every possible form, and the player overcoming it.

Sure, it would be educational, but adding fictitious scenes? Especially about the team that actually welcomed and honored the player? WTF. Guess, money don't smell - have to do whatever it takes to attract the audience.
