The Expense of RAM

Do you think RAM will come down in price in the near furuture? I am building a new system, and though I do not currently need more than 512mb, a full G would be worthwhile down the road. I am debating whether to fork over the cash for 2x512(1G) now, or instead buying (2x256) now and in a year (when I hope they would be cheaper!) sell them and upgrade.

The price keeps going up and up, though...

If you are using Win xp Pro I would buy 1gig anyway I have 512 and it uses about half my ram with most of the services turned of.

ram prices have went up quite a bit lately, and with the release of A64's my guess is that they won't be coming down too much in the near future. You could try looking for bargains however...
