Looks like California has voted to ban gay marriage. The bigots have won and are destroying California. We need to have all these people die so we can remove those ban in the future.

You mean all the bigots in one of the most liberal states in the union?

Yes, those who voted yes deserve to die.

A little extreme, don't you think.

Not at all. People who discriminate deserve the death penalty. They are a cancer on society, a disease and need to cleansed away.

Everyone discriminates to some degree. Guess we're all goners.

Even though I'm sad that Prop 8 is doing so well, you need to calm down.

agree.

Prop 22 passed with 61% 8 years ago, I am not sure why anyone would be surprised that 8 would pass.

Well, 8 is 53% Yes but at only 36% of precincts reporting. California has nearly 40 million residents but only about 5 million of them have been reported. This could turn around.

And on the flip side, California is voting no on requiring doctors to tell minors' parents about an abortion before proceeding.

So yeah, who knows what will happen. We won't know for sure until tomorrow.

CA needs to lower the hard cap age of consent to 13. Seriously. Why not? (not trying to derail :) )

News flash: we're not tolerant of intolerance. Deal with it.

Tolerance is relative. What you consider tolerant I consider bullshit.

Even so, I am entitled to be intolerant, it is my right as an American. It's not the governments job to regulate tolerance, but I'm sure you'd just love that.

News flash...you shouldn't demonize Republicans as intolerant, or sell yourselves as the champions of tolerance, when you have individuals within your camp who also have a capacity for intolerance.

California is one of if not the most liberal state in the nation...the state that overwhelmingly supported Obama, and embraced a message of change, also voted to amend its state constitution to effectively ban gay marriage, and essentially vote against change.

Glass houses.

DUDE STFU! HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE OBAMA OR CHANGE!! YOU INTOLERANT BAFOON! YOU REPUBLICAN FUCKSTICK!!!

oh its probably over

and just goes to show, its quite the swing to the left some might think.

the thing is, with civil unions and such people are fine. but marriage is probably taking it a step too far.

arizona and florida already have 98% ballots in, and they banned gay marriage as well.

and yes..well this is "change"

Anyone who would deny anyone else rights equal to their own and then proudly claim to live in a free Democracy is an asshole.

It's just that simple.

And you don't use the Bible or any other religious bull shit reason for discriminating against anyone who is not doing anything to hurt or bother you or anyone else that is not harmed by it.

This is no different than the blacks need to sit in the back of the bus or have their own water fountains. These are the kinds of false issues fascist regimes like the Republikrats dream up to disenfranchise people and put people against each other so they will be more likely to ignore what the dark lords are up to.

14 Points of fascism: The warning signs

Could the last 8 years and Regan's 8 years have been any clearer about what fascism is?

And don't forget, the Kalifornyans elected dipstick Regan as governator first, too.

san fran votes 77% no, but basically all their votes already in yet they are still losing so they can't swing it.

Well.... It is the Government's job to regulate tolerance and intolerance... In this case the Judicial Branch will see to it that Equal Justice under the law occurs... Equal Protection and all that ya know. And with Obama filling the courts (but for the 60 Senate seats we'd have a really interesting change of Societal values) with more liberal judges we have a chance to wipe out bigotry cept in the Church where ya have to be or dang ya support evil.
