"The everything guide to DPAD by: Overkiller" is up

Thanx for hosting it Wolfsraider!!! 😀😀😀

and Thanx to Overkiller!!! Great work!!! 😀😀😀

Nice write up Overkiller 🙂, i just kinda skimmed over it.

One question though, since it says "...but users of this program have already doubled the estimated efficiency..."
So what is the program acually doing now? Making the design even more efficient?

Nicely Done! Aside from a few tweaks for spacing between paragraphs - I only noticed this:

First one must get the latest beta client (while in beta, the client is very stable and mature) which can be downloaded from here: http://stephenbrooks.org/muon1/v4.html

That link should read: http://stephenbrooks.org/muon1/v5.html

the ver4 page does not show the 4.33a client!

Thanks a bunch!

on it thanks DanC

link fixed

anything else folks?

lmk and i'll get it done...ie...links wrong etc..

edit #2:Aside from a few tweaks for spacing between paragraphs

better?

Looking better!

I'd remove a space between 1st & second paragraphs, and the second & third... and add a space between third & fourth.

I talked to smoke (pm) about getting a link in the welcome thread...he said no problem but it might take a while as it is done by a moderator when he gets free time.

woot smoke is making the change so he can submit it

Thank You Greg

TEST

Distributed Particle Accelerator Design (DPAD)

The Project's Scientific Aims are:

The experiment is called the Neutrino Factory, and is scheduled for construction some time around 2015. Its primary aim is to fire beams of neutrinos (fundamental particles) through the Earth's interior to detector stations on different continents to measure whether these particles change type en route (there are 3 types of neutrino), and data from this, in turn, will help to determine the neutrino's mass (and whether it even has mass).

Also, the proton beam that is produced at the start (this hits the target rod at the beginning of the simulation you download) will be used in experiments attempting to neutralize radioactive waste by transmuting the radioactive elements into stable ones. The program is currently in the simulation phase of the front end design.
