Leave it to grubby greedy government to step on consumers. This just so they can tax products at a higher rate and derive more government income. Yecchhh! :(

But! After that - I personally have no interest in video. I have had several occasions to dislike video shooters who hog available picture space on a prolonged basis.

I wonder which new or upcoming camera models are/would've been affected by this decision... any guess?

there are already several cameras that do the resolution and fps, the only thing is the time limit, which is a file size matter.

I wonder how that will affect that new Casio camera. either way- really stupid ruling...either way i'll assume thre will be an artificial limit in software that someone who knows somethng about the internet can download a hacked firmeware that removes that...
