I agree that is not a good policy.

Unfortunately, It was slower than most rebates I have received in the past. However, I did appreciate the rebate was in the form of a check rather than a card.

Well these are the trade off; the raidmax case is definitly cheap but do you really want one ?

True, but for $10 net, it's almost worth buying to stick in a closet, "just in case" you find yourself having a use/need for it at some point. There aren't many reviews, but even the critical ones don't suggest there's anything seriously wrong with it as long as your expectations are reasonable...

Looks like the deal is dead already. I ordered one, as I have several people asking me to build systems for them... trying to get out of doing that, but one is my son's best friend, the other helping me get my house fixed up before the appraiser comes for my re-fi.

My main machine is housed in the V71, and previously, I had a BlacxV9, so I'm comfortable with ThermalTake cases.

Keep in mind these don't have 6 pin PCIe power connector and only have 4 pin (not 4 + 4) for the Aux ATX. In addition, there is only one SATA power connector. EDIT: According to this unboxing video it does have two SATA connectors.

newegg has the elite 130 for $27 AFTER $20 rebate. This is one of the better itx cases as it will hold a full size psu, gpu AND external 5 1/4 drive. Cooling is so so and drive management is awful (much prefer the pc-33 or corsair 250D).

shame they dont make desktop case that lays horizontally. and if they do, it's called htpc and costs 2x the tower cases.
