Why does the world have it out for me? I can't even ride my fucking bike to the store because I am just dripping the shit out of my nose. I blew out my nose like fifty fucking times and wasted a shit ton of kleenex/toilet paper... Still going though... Tons more where all that came from.

Fucking allergies.

:( I wish I had some. Suggestions?

You have what I had yesterday...I was popping pseudo-ephedrine like it was candy almost and still having to wipe my nose every 3-5 minutes.

Took a big dose of Nyquil last night and slept in, woke up 10x better. I haven't had to take anything for a runny nose all day.

Not mine. We have a bunch of Antihistamines living down the block. They are up all night playing loud music and drinking grape drank, the cops are always over there and they doesnt afraid of anything. :|

Cut off your nose so you don't have to worry about it any more. Would probably make you better looking too.

Sams club Membership can get you Cetirizine (Zyrtec generic) for $18.22 per 350 tablets. Basically a year's supply under $20...you can't beat that!

For clearing out the rest, try Mucinex. That stuff is awesome according to my wife. (Physician Assistant) She suggested that my dad take some since allergies were bothering him too and he swears by the stuff now.

You can take both together and you'll be in good shape. Just remember on the Zyrtec that you'll see improvement within an hour or so, but it takes a few days to build up in your system. I try to take it before bedtime so I sleep better at night. Only side effects are itchy eyes when it starts wearing off...which typically reminds me to take it every night.

you should get out more. subject yourself to the things that cause your allergies and eventually you'll get over them. (at least that worked for me)

You don't really understand pollen allergies... They don't go away after exposure. I've been out there for years now with my pollen allergies and I have not built up any resistance. It doesn't work that way...

Not to build credit for the "keep exposing oneself to allergy agents" concept... but it does work in some circumstances.

Sometimes allergies for pollens you have been exposed to for a long time will never really diminish in reaction... but sometimes your body will adjust to a specific agent/histamine combination. I do know that if you move to a different area that has pollens you've never experienced before, you can often experience allergic reactions to that new invader - but over time your body adjusts or simply gets used to the fact that that specific pollen won't be disappearing any time soon.

But I'd reckon a safe guess and say that pollens you've been exposed to for many years, will continue to cause the same level of reaction your whole life. Only solution is loratadine (Claritin) or similar antihistamine products.

was quite the short allergy season for me... just a couple weeks... but it was bad... tissue after tissue, non-stop.

Yeah, I've been in the same area for a long time and my allergies never got better.

:( I am going to probably start using drugs like crazy... Get addicted.
