The end is always near...for someone. We usually don't know in advance if we are the chosen "someone" du jour, so live your life as though there will be no tomorrow. Particularly if you're my age.

When I come back from a hard run, invariably the first words out of my wife's mouth are: "You shouldn't be doing that at your age. What's wrong with you? You're going to kill yourself!" But I'm very old school when it comes to working out. If it doesn't kill you, you didn't do it hard enough.

I tell the people I love how I feel every day, so I'm ready to go when the spaceship comes to get me.
