I know Rollo acts like a bit of a fanboy sometimes, but I think that the people that said crap like this back in 2003 deserve to be laughed at now. Back then there was A LOT of comments made in this regard that completely slammed nVidia as the next 3dfx and destined to die out any second. The comments were extremely short sighted and ignorant but they were also very common, infact, it would probably be fair to say they were the majority at the time. So yea, the retards who said crap like this owe it only to themselves for getting laughed at. This should also be a reminder for anyone saying similar about ATi now, you will get your time and the salt will burn just as much.

"Digital Wanderer" is (was?) an editor there, check out some of his predictions culled from the thread:

"Ha! Right now I'd be more inclined to think that ATi might pick up the remains of nVidia pretty cheap about a year from now?"
"I think nVidia is about to get their ass handed to 'em on a platter in a couple of weeks when ATi brings out their new low-end DX9 line-up and sweeps that area of the marketshare too."

"If that's true then I feel confident in telling you that nVidia's days are absolutely numbered."

"XGI is going to make the market interesting pretty soon, mark my words."

You gotta love that stuff.

Sounds like an unbiased reviewer lmao

I enjoyed this comment

XGI is going to make the market interesting pretty soon, mark my words.
