Tin foil hats are so old and busted. If you really want to be protected against the government mind rays, you have to use the new titanium-magnesium alloy hats. Duh.

That's why I wear a lead helmet. Sure, my neck is being compressed downward into my spine, but the peace of mind is worth it.

This was covered on /. yesterday... but basically they used aluminum foil which actually amplifies the governmental mind control rays.
You must use tin foil to make your hat! It is harder to find but it is the only thing that really works.
Everyone knows the government developed aluminum foil as a cheaper substitute for tin foil because so many people were making effective hats.
So now everyone uses aluminum and *presto* the mind control rays just come though that much stronger for the people that actually know about them.
