Some observations;
I have been running a Dell 1800FP for a few years, it is a nice but aging panel. Not sure what the response time is but i know it came out during the time when the 'fast' panels were 25ms, and this wasn't one of the fast ones.
My biggest gripe is how slow 2D is on slow panels. I just did a clean install of XP on a new machine and had it hooked up to an old Viewsonic 19" CRT and the speed of the 2D blew me away compared to the 1800fp (which is hooked up to a 3700+ San Diego @ 2.85, 1gb ram, ati X800Xl aka. plenty fast). Window and menu response on the CRT is instantaneous, not so on the LCD.
Might be time to fleabay the old 1800fp.
Oddly it doesn't ghost too bad in games.
