I did, but I don't see the socialist connection, TBH.

edit - not to mention, they seem to be big fans of the gold standard;)

The whole bit about creating a currency that works 'for the people' was a semi-giveaway. They aren't fans of the gold standard for the same reason the government and the Fed aren't fans of gold: they can't control it. Socialists call gold bugs 'hoarders.'

did you check out the video, or just criticize the source?

unless my memory is very bad, it doesn't say what you think it does.

Beyond that, regardless of their conclusions, it's a pretty good intro to how money works in the banking system we have (as opposed to the one you or I wish we had).

Maybe just open an account in switzerland and convert all of your savings to Euros to keep them from becoming worthless. As the dollar drops your money becomes worth more.
