So we just let everything just slide? If Pence did not certify and delayed for 10 days while looking for alternate slates pf electors from states there would have been blood in the streets.

You were the one who downplayed the Eastman memo when it first came out. I reminded you in another thread and got no response.
I dont play in the what if sandbox very well. Unless theres something actionable.

edit: and alternate electors? Pfft.
No, there aren’t ‘alternate electors’ who can vote for President Trump. - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
A group of people who gather in a room and claim they are electors, as state-party-backed Republicans did in a few states on Monday, have no more authority than if the people reading this article decided that they, too, wanted to be members of the Electoral College.

So while Republicans in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada and Michigan followed the White House’s lead, making or discussing moves to form their own competing slates of pro-Trump electors, it was a theatrical effort with no legal pathway.

edit 2: Even on this icky pro-Trump website, it is said theres no legal path Here's What The "Alternative Electors" Means and How It Will Work (welovetrump.com)

Nothing in the Constitution or state electoral processes allows for such an “alternate” slate of electors.

So trump's campaign coordinated an alternate slate of electors for shits and giggles, even though they aren't part of the "legal pathway"? GTFOH.

It was all part of the Eastman memo plan.

Correct. Trump's campaign werent the sharpest tools in the shed.

I could make a plan to jump off the Eiffel tower and fly. Doesnt mean it'll work. See my second edit.

Fuck can we just move to popular vote and end all this backend drama.
Currently does anyone doubt a State will invalidate its EC votes because “reasons” and ignore the voice of the voters or because their guy didn't win so may as well...

The ranked choice vote option seems the most viable. But even MA residents shot in down a couple years ago. While other countries can do it, it just seems to complicated for American's.

edit: FM post is from 2021 - it's possible I already mentioned this in the thread :D

Their plan was not to win in court.

Saying ‘oh they couldn’t do that, it’s illegal’ misses the whole point. In what they were trying to do the law doesn’t matter.

blackagnst1 - "I don't play in the what if sandbox very well"

also blackagnst1 - "This Dinesh D'Souza video filled with what if's seems cool and totally reasonable"

Chuckles!

Dinesh D’Bozo hires crisis actors for his movies.

If anyone still believes this ‘2000 Mules’ nonsense please read this thorough pwning of D’Bozo where he admits his movie has zero evidence for its claims.

So someone makes a bad plan to rob a bank and it fails you don't charge anyone???

Ever heard of attempted murder?

How about conspiracy to defraud the US government? You honesty think none of this deserves charges??

Fact: Trump attempted to implement the highly illegal Eastman plot. He arranged the alternate Electors, arranged the objections in the house and ORDERED Pence carry through with the plan.

The ONLY thing that stopped it was Pence refusing.

Trump is known to be on the phone with Pence calling him a pussy for refusing to carry through with his coup orders.

Attempted coups are still coups.

Trump ATTEMPTED the Eastman plot and ordered it's implementation.

He is guilty.
