I remember tearing my hair out with that goddamn gnome, and the mine part oh god the mines. I just wanted to open the trunk and stuff him in there. I had him wedged in the back window most of the time, but every once in awhile he'd break free.

Ha. I got sick of the mines part, so I drove ahead without the gnome, let the helicopter attack Alyx, then I ran back on foot and picked the gnome up and ran.

Quite easy.
