I was reading bout this the other day and seeing as I have an extra keyboard around I replaced all the keys t start using it. The problem is that there?s supposed to be a way to change the keyboard settings in windows so it recognizes it.

For some reason I don?t have that option. It says to go to control panel-> keyboards. To change the setting. I don?t have that option.

Im running XP pro and the keyboard is a PS2 one

anyoen know what i can do to change it?

I tried that once and actually got over the worst part of the learning curve.

I must admit that it's MUCH more comfortable to type on than qwerty.

it's actually supposedly a much more efficient keyboard layout....i've got my keycaps laid out in dvorak, but i still type in qwerty :D i was going to learn dvorak.....it's a good security method to keep unwanted users off of your PC, they get frustrated and leave

LOL, good idea. I'll have to try it sometime. :)

<-- is upset now that he didn't stop by the IU Materials Management (i.e. place where they sell a bunch of old computers and other misc. junk from various university departments) when he was in Bloomington, IN the other day to pick up a $1 keyboard to rearrange and play with.
