The Duron 600 overclocks better then the 700??

I'm new to overclocking for one. I'm just asking, does the Duron 600 really overclock better then the 700?? Also, why??

I'm building a new system as a Linux server. Hope I don't fry my cpu in the process.

Well, from what I've seen.. a lot more 700's hit the magin number then the 600/650's do..

I think what ppl mean by that is that people can get more "free" MHz from a 600 than from a 700, since both chips can reach approximately the same speeds.

Pretty much a value thing.
