The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\D

I checked my System Log and that error has been logged 5 times each time Windows starts for the past month. It's on my notebook with XP Home. I have an IBM Travelstar hard drive. I downloaded IBM's Drive Fitness Test and both the quick and advanced tests came up with no errors.

Does the "D" at the end specify the drive letter that causes the error? If so, it's my CD drive. I have swapped it with another DVD and it still comes up. I also swapped it with a floppy drive in the same modular bay (which becomes drive A), but the error still shows up exactly the same as above.
