The drive thru

I swear the Taco Bell here has the slowest drive-thru service. I don't mind it so much though, I wait in the drive-thru line like everyone else. I have no beef with it... UNTIL the order-er from hell lines up in front of you.

"Yes, I'd like this, and this, and this, and this... and on this taco, please add this, but not on the other one. What kind of drinks do you have? I'll take that with no ice, and another with ice." HowTF do you spend $50 at the Taco Bell drive-thru? If you're going to order for 10 people for literally 5 whole minutes, go the F$@K inside and do it. The drive-thru line is usually out into the street as it is.

Arby's = teh sux0rz

Steak 'n Shake is slow but that's because it just takes longer to actually cook a patty than it does to wrap one up in plastic and shove it thru a window.

I find that most of the time it's easier and more convenient for me to go into the restaurant to get food.

It's easier to get my wallet out, it's easier to order your food and confirm it, and it's definitely easier to have time to look at the menu.

This isn't about Taco Bell being slow... it's about an idiot who goes thru the drive thru and tries to order for 10+ people all at once.

Did I mention my lunch hour was almost over by the time I got the food in my hands ?

Don't you know no one actually reads an entire msg around here?

Jack in the Box is slower.

Jack In The Crack's drive-through moves at glacial speeds, I swear. Wendy's on the other hand is almost always very fast.
Have to agree with Wendy's. They are lightning fast with everything... a few of you know route 110 in NY... Wendy's there can take about 20 cars before it lines out into the street (happens often during lunchtime)... they can probably do those 20 cars in 5-10 minutes.

That is... unless you get an order-er from hell.

BTW, is In-N-Out as popular anywhere else as it is in San Diego? I haven't been there in so long because you end up waiting 20 minutes just to get into the actual drive-through lane at lunchtime, even though their burgers and service rocks.
