Unplug everything but one stick of ram, one hard drive and your video.

Try to get into the bios and see what's up. I would start with loosening the ram timings and go from there.

I would guess it's your psu. What are your voltages reading, in the BIOS? That's what usually causes a system to restart before it hit Windows, assuming that your cpu's heatsink is seated properly.

I agree with the above poster, try and boot with the minimum components.

I suspect the power supply, of all your components it is the weakest link. And reboots prior to post are almost always a power issue.

With the heavy load of components you have you definately need a higer quality PS. Here's a quote from one of the reviews I've read about that PS.

"There has been a great deal of talk about this particular power supply having a rather bad habit of shutting down unexpectedly as well as not being able to power-on certain high-end systems."

A <$100 PS is not a good idea for such a high end system, the PS is the heart and soul of a PC

The correct way to setup a Gigabyte C2D mobo and OCZ RAM is install ONE stick of RAM in the 1st RAM slot. Boot the system and go to BIOS, flash to newest BIOS, set the RAM timings manually. Install OS. Confirm system stability w/ Orthos. Then put in the 2nd piece of RAM. That's how I did it w/ my DS3 and OCZ Plats. Works for me.

It's your $75 psu that's causing the problems, man. You can't run a $2,000 computer with a $75 psu. You can believe us, or you can choose not to believe us, but we know from experience. Your "600 watt" Coolermaster psu has less power on 3 of it's 4 rails than the 500 watt psu that I'm using to power an X2 4400. And I'm not trying to run a ~150 watt video card with mine.;)

What are the other psu's you are using to test? Probably not good units like OCZ or FSP etc. If you are using HIGH QUALITY KNOWN GOOD psu's to test, then RMA your board.

but ur board is not so good from what i have heard ... seriosly, get P5B DLX thats the best board for single card or Asus P5WDG WS PRO (it has to have pro or it doesnt support conroe , the non pro version) or P5W 64 WS PRO for multi GPU

:)Thanks for all who tried to help the problem has been solved.
One little thing,I have been building computers for last 25 years but this problem had me tossed so as a last resort Gigabyte came to the party and replaced motherboard guess what computer works terrific now so it seems all the help was helpful but everybody was barking up the wrong tree but to all I am very thankful for your help.

Haha, I've been wrong before. Glad to hear that it's working now. I would still check my rails; just because it's functioning doesn't mean that your expensive components are getting the voltage that they require.

All they did was give you an updated bios that works with that ram :). They oculd have just sent you a new bios chip thouogh. For some reason the DS3 and all 965 boards at first couldn't support OCZ ram, because it needs to much voltage to start. But I guess that is what OCZ deserves for being one of the first to use D9GKX instead of D9GMH. Costs about 10$ per IC more and shows very little increase in performance. Oh well I am going off on a rant, hurray for all of us that spent 450$ on ram modules only to see Team's 3-3-3-8 D9GMH do the same speed.

I am glad you posted this and got it resolved. For those of you who obviously don't know, Cooler Master makes good power supplies and 600 watts is more than plenty for his system. Actually I did a little calculating and a 400-500 watt would have sufficed as well. I am also glad to hear the Gigabyte came through and replaced the board for you.
