"I often gives answers that are too short, simple, and to the point, and often never take the time to explain things thoroughly unless explicitly asked to do so. "

Example:

Is AMD better than Intel"

My normal answer: Yes

My extenuated answer: Depends, but generally yes, and here's why....

You have to somehow turn your weakness into a strength. For example, you might say: "I often worry too much about my work. Sometimes I work late to make sure the job is done well. I'm too much of a perfectionist that it may require more time to complete my work."

Perfect example of a B.S. answer. If I were interviewing you and you gave me that bunch of B.S. I'd probably have a hard time not laughing.

Would you actually ask that BS question in the first place though? Its like a freaking back patting session that accomplishes nothing except for confirming the potential employee knows how to give you a load of feel good bullsh|t when prompted.

Every time I am startled or stressed out I jump on the nearest desk, drop my pants, growl and shake my genitals violently at the nearest person until someone sings the complete version of "Come Sail Away."

I didn't get the job but I could tell they were seriously considering me.

i hated being asked that question. Finally when i got into higher management you don't get asked such stupid questions.

When i was hiring people That is one we would have to ask. I hated getting canned answers. I would rather have someone sit and be honest. If it was not on the sheet of questions i HAD to ask i would forget it. Its really not useful. well at least i never thought it was.
