The disk is write protected / USB thumb drive

I used a program called WinToFlash to copy my Win XP Pro CD to the thumb drive so I could reinstall Windows on my netbook. Apparently the copy process failed because when I try to boot off the thumb drive the system starts beeping at me. 😵 So I was going to format the thumb drive and try the whole copy process again but I get the error message "The disk is write protected" I have tried everything I can think of to format this thumb drive. I have also tried to format the thumb drive under Linux. Any ideas how I can remove the read only from this drive?

Success! The Neo 9 tool was able to get past the write protection and format the pen drive. Thanks for the link Kenmitch.
