The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai finally hits XBLA this Wednesday. I didn't realize you could use a guitar peripheral with it.

New game modes with guitar peripheral: The Dishwasher has arcade co-op, drop-in solo campaign co-op, and drop-in solo phantom guitar co-op using the guitar peripheral. Phantom guitar players can unload electric death by playing wicked solos, perform basic movement, and use the guitar's motion control to rip through enemies with a razor-sharp headstock.

omg its about time... i played the demo for this on this XNA made community game share addon that was xbox live about 2 years back. simple, tough game play that was addictive, old school feel & great art style.

I've been waiting for this one. I've got it queued up from work. I will probably give it a shot tonight. Looks cool, and I love the art style.

Played the demo last night - it's like a 2D God of War... brutal, bloody, attack combos, etc. Lots of fun. Still, I wonder how much content there really is, especially for multiplayer and such.

Seemed OK. I'm a sucker for beat 'em ups and this does not disappoint in that respect. However, I don't really dig the art style. The comic strips are blurry and unintelligible, although when you're playing it's not so bad. I may end up purchasing this but we'll see. Castle Crashers is still king.
