The difference between a Republican and a Democrat.

If a Republican stumbles upon a drowning man he will throw a rope that only reaches halfway to the drowning man. Then he will tell the man to swim to the rope so he can pull him to shore.

If a Democrat stumbles upon a drowning man he will throw a rope that reaches all the way to the drowning man. Then he'll run off and get help.
