I have noticed..the most popular clothing when i was in highschool was and still is "dickie pants" Then all of the sudden people start wearing jeans..even..the ghetto talking ricans, blacks whites..etc... Some might say its best to wear because the school has the uniform code...But even schools that have students that could give a rats assa bout rules and clothing codes wear them...I used to wear them aswell...wtf..is it that makes kids buy these pants so much???
 
I had to wear Dickies in HS because they were part of our uniforms.

I also have a couple of pairs of Dickies shorts currently for working in messy conditions (bought them to clean out my parents' house after Katrina).

Wnh5001 is right, they never fit right.
 
Its for teh ghetto people.. and as a cheap uniform to use. i never had one although i seen many people wear them. they look like they don't fit some people -.-'

They're faux slacks. They're made out of really tough material and are suited well for mechanics and factory workers that have a dress code. I'll pick up a few pair of these if I wind up working in a factory.

WTF are you talking about? Millions of high schoolers throughout America wear Jeans EXCLUSIVELY. I never wore Dickie pants, and I graduated just a few years ago.
 
it seems not alot of people even know they exist......Damn then that means i need to get heck out of philfthydelphia if i want to escape having to look at kids in the streets wearing them especially 3-4 sizes larger than theyre supposed to lol..it is an eye sore..almost as annoying having to stand next to someone smoking on the bus stop..
