The voice over was the voice of the computerized national weather service announcer. The rest were fire and police calls.
 
looks like my town when ivan tore through. really puts life into perspective when things like that happen. some peopel are still dealing with it here almost 2 years later.

hopefully all the "what do you expect when you live in the area" trolls will stay out of this thread.

There really is no place in the country immune from natural disasters.
 
I took a trip to Springfield to visit some Lincoln sites (and the Lincoln Presidential Library museum). Hopefully those didn't get hit.

Nope. Those are all fine. The tornados tore through the southern side of town.

But there are some places that would be considered hot spots. Illinoise is not what I'm thinking of here.
