Consumerism?
So I spent forever fantasizing about building this rig in my sig; said to myself "You get these grades this semester, you go ahead and build the comp, even though you really don't need it." I get lots of pleasure from getting lots out of cheap parts.
So fast forward, I got the grades, pieced together my comp, overclocked 2daMAX, and now have very little interest in anything computers besides playing some UT3 IG CTF.
So then after playing some Test Drive Unlimited, I got it in my head to mod out a Nismo 350z/Infinity G35 Coupe.
But judging from the computer incident, I'll probably feel the same way once I trick out a g35. Plus I'd want to race it, which is another can of worms. Anyways, that's a significantly larger expense than a comp so I took a bit more time to think it over and thankfully the urge subsided.
So what's something that you get lots of fun out of modding, but which, when the modding is completed, you continue to be interested in?
