All these people should be fired. But of course they are government workers so a slap on the wrist will do. If anyone thinks that government healthcare be run without the standard governmentt waste is a fool.

Those high dollar awards do sound out of line and look like they are attributed to a few bad managers. The average bonus of 2,500 or less sounds reasonable. The VA is one agency that deserves more funding and I say that as a Veteran who has used VA services.

Write the Republican leadership, and ask them why they don't mind sending soldiers to die, but constantly cut funding for the VA. Cain't have soshulisms, can we?

"VA does not condone misconduct by its employees and will take the appropriate correction action for those who violate VA policy," Roberts said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
On Friday, Joe Davis, a spokesman for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, said if the allegations are found to be true, individuals involved should lose their jobs, and legal action should be taken.
"America's veterans served their nation honorably and with no expectations of reward," Davis said in an e-mail. "It should not be too much to ask for that same level of commitment from government employees, too."

So, the actions of one corrupt individual means the entire system should be scrapped. Gotcha. Guess we need to abolish the entire banking system, also. A hell of a lot more of those fuckheads were raiding the cookie jar. Good thing Bush bailed them out with our money. Go greed!
