Ok, So I was putting on some wipers in the autozone parking lot. I have some damage on my hood, and this guy saw it...He told me he would get rid of the dents for 200 bucks. The work took him about 20 minutes, basically he to hput this thing in between the hood and the engine part and pushed on the hood untill the dents popped out, he also used some bonding old one of the broken headlights in place. I don't really think this was worth it, but at least my dents are out of my hood and I don't have to spend 500 bucks from a mechanic. Would you have paid this guy (the Dent Wizard)?

~120 for a panel is usually a pretty good price

He saved you $300 and you don't think it was worth it?

I found a place that will do it for $75 per panel. The only trick is that you have to pay $49.95 for an exterior car detail to get in on this price. However, it seems worth it to me - $125 to get the exterior of your car detailed and dents removed from one of the panels.

On a related note, one of our vehicles was damaged about 4 years ago by hail. We had the whole car repaired via the "paintless" dent removal process. The final bill was in the range of $1,700 because there was damage on most of the panels. The work turned out really nice and I was glad that the car never had to be repainted.

I guess when it comes to "Dent Doctor" everything is negotiable. Maybe, the guy was hungry and would have done it for $150 or even $100. Then again, the guy is entitled to collect what he considers reasonable costs for his skills.
