The Dell 700m comes with 256MB of 333mhz memory....can I throw in another 256MB at 266mhz?

I've pretty much included the question in the title. I'm just about to order the 700m from Dell (w00t!) and I have some spare RAM from my Inspiron 4150. What do you guys think?

If I remember correctly, if you mix different speed sticks, both will operate at the lower speed. So you'd have 512mb @ 266mhz - which is still better than 256mb @ 333mhz.

I could be wrong though, if I am someone will correct me.

is the speed difference that big of a deal? I'm getting the 1.8 (out of a possible 1.6 or 2.0ghz P4).

a 1.8ghz p4 with 512mb of ram operating @ 266mhz would definitely be noticeably faster than a 1.8ghz p4 with 256mb of ram operating @ 333mhz.
