The Dead Zone movie

I just watched "The Dead Zone" on AMC. I never seen it through its entirety whenever it was on before. Now that I have, I must say it's a good movie. Of course, Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actor so I might be a little bias. This movie has some premonitions for two of the lead actors, C. Walken and Martin Sheen. Keep in mind that this movie was made in the early 80s.

Here's a couple things I noticed:
1. In the movie, Walken's character spoke to his students about Irving's The Lengend of Sleepy Hollow and Ichabod Crane.

Jump to the 90s, Walkins plays the Headless Horseman in Burton's movie Sleepy Hollow.

2. In the movie, Martin Sheen plays a candidate running for senator. Through Walken's vision he becomes president in the future.

Nowadays, we find Martin Sheen playing the president in a TV hit The West Wing.
