Hope your install of Win2K doesn't go as bad as mine did.
Thought I'd outsmart MS and copy the I386 folder to a hard drive that was going into my new dually. Everything copied fine from the CD, so I pulled the drive out, built the dually and started the install.
Didn't bother to install SmartDrive, figured what the heck. After going out the the bar for about an hour for a friends B-day I come home only to find it's not done copying files yet. I putz around with a few other things and two hours after I started, it was finally done copying crap in DOS protected mode.
Started the real install and it kept telling me that PCMCIA.SYS was corrupt and to press any key. I'd press a key and it would bomb the install and try to start over. One big never ending loop. :|
Finally dug out a Win98 boot floppy, got CD-ROM drive support working, installed SmartDrive and started the install over again.
MAN, it only took like 5 minutes to copy all that crap off the CD-ROM drive once SmartDrive was started!

Found out what I had copied to the hard drive was in fact corrupt.
Finally got it humming along at 672 x 2 = 1,344MHz.
