Dawn of War 2 looks like it will be the best RTS of 2009, both graphically, playably and revolutionary.

Relic only just released the short Work in Progress gameplay video on their forums in the past few days.

I included the "old" Cinematic trailer with the 'Nids because its HD, looks cool and some people may not have seen it yet, despite being posted here at the back end of August when it was released.

it's moving towards RTT, although that gets included in the RTS genre anyway.

graphics are great - again, DoW is ahead of SC, but SC handles way more units.


i'm glad to see DoW carving a niche for itself, because it's a great universe to play in. Will be picking this up along with SC2 and enjoying both 🙂

A couple of the DOW series games I didn't really like, mainly cause I didn't like the faction the game focused on. In general though it's a fun to play nicely done series. Even better than these getting redone in new graphics is that CoH follows 🙂

I posted the HD 'Nids video to add to my thread. It gave people the chance to see it who missed it, plus the HD video has been out since the normal one, around 25th August.

The new footage, which is only a few days old now, is the walkthrough with Jonny, Lead Designer for DoW 2.

Admit it, you enjoyed watching the 'Nids video several times again 😛
