I wish I could, but I don't have a TV, haven't had one for a couple years. Does anyone enjoy some of the good military and warfare shows they produce, and anyone going to look at this one? Also, any previously made and now for sale DVDs peeps would recommend?

History Channel is the best channel on cable. I also have History International which is just more History Channel, kind of like MTV2. I almost ALWAYS watch History Channel 24/7 except when a good movie is on and I am watching the Dark Ages on the H Channel.

I set the DVR to record since I missed the inital showing. I also recorded the Barbarian specials. Those are really neat, IMO. I just find the whole Dark Ages/Middle Ages very fascintating.

I love watching that stuff.

Sadly, I didn't record any of it (no DVR for me :() but I watched as much as I could the other day. They even had a show about bladed weapons (knives, swords, axes) and I found that really interesting.

Yeah, their modern marvels are what get me going:
Chinese Warfare
Egyptian Warfare
Their DogFight Series
Their Barbarian Series
And now their Dark Age Series.

Barbarians series was impressive; likewise the Thursday episodes covering the battle of Thermopalye ... I've looked up several wiki's on Tamerlane and Genghis Khan after watching the shows.

Does the H channel go into detail about the soldiers themselves? Like, doing some sort of 3d representation computer or live generated?

I like the History Channel, don't have a TV to really do any channel justice though. :(

i watch quite a bit of H and discovery channels....i used to watch G4tv (once techtv) when they actually had computer related shows on it...now it just sucks, same crap thats on every channel like cops or cheaters, i miss the screensavers show, that and xplay were what got me out of console gaming entirely and exclusivly pc gameing :)

Yeah, I saw the Vandals one while working out, it was good stuff. I wouldn't mind purchasing some of their DVDs myself.
