You mean because the Daily Show edited the comments out of order with the intent to make McCain look bad? How they didn't show the questions he was being asked and how they just mixed and matched comments?

Wrong. Take a look at the post and the menu for the forums is on the left side. So he would need to look to the left to change which forum he is in.

Nope, my reaction wasn't defensive. I'm a video producer for a living. Most idiots who watch TV don't realize that well edited segments can make something look like something it's not. I don't know if you're an idiot or not, but the segment doesn't make him look like a schizophrenic if you understand what it is. Most people don't. That's all.

That's ALL campaigns are about. It's nothing but mudslinging and trying to trash on the other canidate.
I have watched The Daily Show & The Colbert Report nearly every day for years - but I've had to give up on them now. Ever since it occurred to them that McCain actually has a chance at being elected, they have absolutely lost their minds.
They have become a broken record, the only joke they've done in the past month is "Republicans are incompetent". They ran out of material long ago and now rely on the stupidity of the audience to make their jokes work.
Just look at the interview Stewart had with Tony Blair. It was his chance to prove himself, and instead all he did was crack more useless jokes against Bush. Stewart has the opportunity to ask all the questions he claims he wants to know - and what does he actually ask? "Does George know there's a time difference, ever call you up at 4 in the morning and be like 'Hey Tony you have to check out channel 11, there's a squirrel licking it's balls! Hehehehe'?" Stewart just proved he really is nothing more than a late-night comedian on basic cable.
There, that's my rant.
