Wow, Josh at WSJ lied by omission and Fox parroted the lie.

But make no mistake it IS a lie by ANY metric..

Worst performing states are ALL solid red states. Best performing states are solid blue states This looks a LOT like the 2020 election map.

The chart shows fossil fuel producing states took a steep dive, not much else in the way of trends.

That's not true, New Mexico is pretty solidly blue, and there's plenty of blue states that are right in line with the average red state.

Things are much more nuanced than either of you seem to want to admit.

Fact is though, Republican policies are worse for the economy especially long term. It might buoy the stock market for a bit but that's not the economy. And yes, the current economic issues are largely because of Turmp and Republican policies.

There's also the big bad world out there. Their inflation is worse. It's about war and oil now. Please don't think I'm giving Trump and the Pubs a break. I just deal with reality. Biden has little to do with it or control of it.

Um, wait.

Fox and WSJ are claiming red states are doing better economically than blue states.

That's not true. Sure, you can cherry pick New Mexico as an exception.

But, on the average, the GDP of blue states has NOT fallen as much as red states.

Full stop.

So I don't know why you think what I said isn't true. It's demonstrably true. I posted the numbers.
