If X person wrote a book (without outside help), would it be considered a credible source of facts?
In every thread I create, I try to make the main topic as unbiased as possible but due to the lack of flamewars that result, they die pretty fast. However, I'm going to try again to start a good discussion.
If you are unsure of a person's background, I highly encourage you to look up his or her name and learn about their policies and stands on issues before you give a 'yes' or 'no' answer (or you can skip the question). In all fairness, upon request, I will add the name of any US official who has served between 2000 to present (until this newfangled poll feature breaks). Hopefully, this thread will serve a good indicator of whose book's would serve a good read on American history/perspectives.
