But it doesnt change the fact that most games nowadays are made with a Hollywood mentality. Get it done and ship it out.
Profit is a LOT more important than content, and its the executives and accountants that direct games, not programmers or artists.
All games start with a mountain of ideas and get chipped down to a nice, manageable mole-hill for easy package and sale. The problem is it seems to me they are still charging us as if we got mountains.
