THE CORRECT WAY TO SPELL "PAST" AS IN PAST EXPERIENCE?

No one knows the corrrect answer, how do I spell "Past" or "passed" as in past experience (previous experience) or past relationship. Please help

Is it Past? or is it Passed? or is it neither? Thanks!

past = adjective modifying a noun
passed = past tense verb of pass
past tense = tense of verb that passed in the past. :D

"I passed the ford festiva as we raced past the police station"

But since that was yesterday, it is all in the past.

Another expression commonly written incorrectly is: "Common" used instead of the correct "Come on"

Sounds like someone cannot get past the fact that spell checker will not help poor english skills. Thank god I compete against people like you for a job.
